Abide · October

The practice of abiding.

October is Abide month. Abiding is essential every day, but this month we intentionally practice the same spiritual disciplines together as a church body.

What does abide mean?

Menō: to remain.

The Greek word is menō: remaining in a given place, state, relation or expectancy. Other translations say “remain,” and the message is the same. Jesus is calling us to stay connected to Him.

God has done awesome things as we’ve sought Him together. We’re expectant for freedom, healing, breakthrough, deliverance, power and joy as we abide in Him.
